Site Visits

Thank you for considering an educator site visit. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on The Walt Disney Company, we are temporarily pausing visit requests and hosting our faculty contacts at this time.  We sincerely look forward to resuming visits in the future!

Thank you for your interest in visiting Walt Disney World® Resort or Disneyland® Resort to learn more about Disney Internships and Programs. We are typically able to assist with discounted resort hotel rates (excluding hotel parking fees) and complimentary theme park tickets. However, we do ask that our visiting educators review all expectations and guidelines detailed in this section.

Note: Please submit any site visit requests at least three weeks prior to your desired visit dates.

Site Visit Expectations:

Length of Visit

There is a great deal to see and learn about our programs during a site visit.  Ideally, educators will allow on average two to three days for a successful visit. If you are unable to provide this length of time, please reach out to us to discuss other options.

Due to the nature of our operation, we ask site visits be planned on week days during non-block out periods (See Timing of Visit for more information). Unfortunately, hotel discounts are not available on Friday and/or Saturday nights.

Activities During Visit

We truly enjoy spending time with our visitors, so a full agenda will be set up for you whenever possible.  At the Walt Disney World® Resort, you can expect to meet with the following contacts during your site visit:

  • Educator relations manager
  • Education team representative
  • Disney Service Center and/or Housing representative

Other components of a site visit will include a tour of our housing complexes and an opportunity to attend one of our educational offerings.

At the Disneyland® Resort, we will schedule a meeting with members of our housing and education teams.

Finally, park tickets can be provided for our educators wishing to visit their participants in the parks. Tickets will be determined based on the number of students from your school participating on the program.  Accompanying family members will not be issued tickets.  If you plan to meet with your students, it is your responsibility to schedule these meetings. We recommend contacting them at least three weeks in advance in order for them to schedule accordingly.

Timing of Visit

The  majority of our offices operate Monday-Friday, so please plan your visits to occur during the weekdays.  Please note we are not able to offer discounted resort accommodations on any Friday and/or Saturday nights.

Transportation

Educators staying at any of the Walt Disney World resorts (in Florida) may also take advantage of Disney’s Magical Express, which offers luggage and shuttle service between Walt Disney World resorts and the Orlando International Airport, and they will also have access to bus transportation to our theme parks, water parks, resorts, and Downtown Disney.

All visiting Educators must provide their own transportation to meetings and/or classes they attend at our apartment complexes (both in Florida and California). No bus transportation to any of the apartment complexes is available. You may choose to take a taxi – all Walt Disney World resorts and Disneyland hotels are within 10 miles of the recruitment offices and student apartment complexes.
